How To Apply For Your DMP

Step-By-Step

Applying as a NON - LANDOWNER

 Instructions

1. Step 1: Go to https://decals.east.licensing.app/ or www.nysdeclicensing.com
   
   
2. Step 2: If you have an account you will want to choose the login option at the top right-hand corner. If you do not have an account you will want to choose the "Sign-up" option.
   
   
   
3. Step 3: Once you are in your account, before starting your application, you will need to make sure you have an active hunting license on file. Note: If you are a landowner you must add the landowner status to your profile before the application. Please view section "Applying as a Non-Landowner" below.
   
   
4. Step 4: To purchase a annual hunting hunting license you'll want to select the "Buy Licenses" option at the top righthand corner.
   
   
5. Step 5: While in this section, you'll want to add the annual hunting license to your cart by clicking on the + sign beside the license name. You should then get a little window at the top right corner showing the items that have been added to your cart.
6. Step 6: Once the items have been add to the cart, you'll want to click on any random space on your screen so that the carts goes away. You will then select the "Apply for DMP" option on the top menu bar of the page.
7. Step 7: After clicking "Apply for DMP" you will then be brought to the first step of the DMP application. You will want to hit "Apply" while on this page.
8. Step 8: Clicking the "Apply" option will then bring you to your Map. This is where you will select the units (max of 2) that you want to apply for. If you're landowner eligibility was added correctly, you should see the word "Landowner" beside the unit you applied your status to. Once you've verified that your Landowner unit is listed, hit the + sign beside the unit to add it to your choice section on the right.
9. Step 9: After adding your first unit, remember that you can apply for a maximum of 2 units. So if you would like to apply for a second Wildlife Management Unit, simply click on the + again for the unit you wish to choose.
10. Step 10: Once all your choices are listed in the "Selected Choices" section, hit the "Submit All choices" option to move on to the checkout process.
11. Step 11:  After submitting your choices, you will be brought to the pre-checkout page. This page will display what you have in your cart and also give you the option to "Continue Shopping" if you would like to add additional products. If not, you can move on to the next step by selecting "Checkout".
12. Step 12: You are now step 1 of the checkout process. You will be ask whether or not you'd like to donate an amount to the listed options. If not, you will choose the "Not Today" options.
13. Step 13: After going through the donation boxes, you can review the items in your cart and hit "Continue" if everything looks to be good.
14. Step 14: The next pages will have you confirming your address, shipping methods and entering in your cc information to complete your order.
15. Step 15: Once your order has been completed, you will immediately receive your DMP results. Whether you are successful or unsuccessful.

Applying as a LANDOWNER

 Instructions

Landowner Steps (Click Me)

1. Step 1: Go to https://decals.east.licensing.app/ or www.nysdeclicensing.com
   
   
2. Step 2: If you have an account you will want to choose the login option at the top right-hand corner. If you do not have an account you will want to choose the "Sign-up" option.
   
   
   
3. Step 3: Once you are in your account, before starting your application, you will need to add the landowner status to your profile. This must be done each year that you plan on applying for a DMP.
   
   
   
4. Step 4: After selecting Landowner from the "Add eligibility " option noted in the above image, you will enter in the required information and save the eligibility to your profile. The SWIS Code 1 , Tax Map ID 1 and WMU are mandatory fields to fill.
   
   
   
5. Step 5: After adding the information and saving the eligibility to your profile. You will then want to purchase a hunting license if you do not already have one on file. You can do so by selecting the "Buy Licenses" option at the top right corner.
   
   
6. Step 6: While in this section, you'll want to add the annual hunting license to your cart by clicking on the + sign beside the license name. You should then get a little window at the top right corner showing the items that have been added to your cart.
7. Step 7: Once the items have been add to the cart, you'll want to click on any random space on your screen so that the carts goes away. You will then select the "Apply for DMP" option on the top menu bar of the page.

If you're landowner eligibility was added correctly, you should see the word "Landowner" beside the unit you applied your status to. Once you've verified that your Landowner unit is listed, hit the + sign beside the unit to add it to your choice section on the right.
