General Info:
- NYS Residents with a DMV issued DL or Non Driver ID are eligible for an adventure license.
- They will get an icon associated with a particular privilege on their license or non-driver ID.
- Replacement DL can be ordered directly online, or on the phone, for certain holdings. The customer can opt to have the adventure icon(s) added to their license upon their next scheduled license renewal (free) or opt to have an immediate reprint issued from the DMV ($12.50 for DL, $5.00 for non-driver ID).

The following holdings cannot be added to the adventure license via our portal, they are handled by NY PARKS not NY DEC:
- Boating safety: Customers must go to the following link to add boater education to their adventure license: https://shop.parks.ny.gov/BoaterSafety/
- Lifetime Empire Passport (Parks): Customers must go to the following link for their Lifetime Empire Passport: https://parks.ny.gov/lifetime/

When I hit DL reprint where is the option to add a new icon? I don’t want to get the exact same DL I already have.
What are the actual steps to purchase a new DL with the fishing/boating icon? It's not very intuitive. Thanks!
