How to get your HIP Number

This article is to show you how to get your HIP number. This can either been done whilst logged in or logged out

Instructions (Logged in)

Click “Buy Licenses” at the top left corner of the screen.
Located under Hunting Annual, add the $0 HIP Survey to your cart by hitting the Plus Sign (+) Beside HIP. You must either already have a hunting licensing or have a hunting license in your shopping cart to select the HIP item.
The survey will automatically populate, answer all survey questions accordingly and hit "submit".
After clicking submit, the $0 HIP item will be added to your shopping cart. Either hit "continue shopping" or "Checkout".
Once you have made payment and are on the Receipt page, hit Back to My Account
Click on the Game Harvest and HIP tab
Hit the drop-down arrow to the right of your Reported HIP Survey for the current license year
Once that field is expanded, your HIP Number will display

Note* If you have already completed the survey and are just looking for the number you can skip steps 2-6.

Instructions (Logged out)

Go to https://decals.east.licensing.app/standalone_surveys
Input your DEC ID and D.O.B.
There will be an option for “Get your HIP number” that you will want to select.
From there you will be asked if you plan on hunting migratory birds
You will then be given a series of questions to answer and submit once inputted
After submission, where you once saw “Get Hip Number” it should now say “Print Hip”.
Make sure you do not have pop-up blocker on your browser.
